Thanks for the great work and explanations in this thread. I was not able to use the last version though, coupling to the smart switch failed with it. I thus reverted to 3.14.12 which works for me, there's a final timeout on initial procedure. A point on which I spent quite some time as well: finding out that I needed to activate Root Explorer in ES File Explorer (while I had the app set with root access).
