Xiaoyi technology has released the CN version Smart Car camera last year. Recently, it has newly released the International version.

All of us have the same doubt about the differences between CN version and International version. Here I’m gonna to compare the two versions from the details.

Package
The package box of CN Edition comes with Chinese language, the package box of International Edition comes with English language.Language of user instruction also different as the box.




2. Bracket

The bracket of CN Edition comes with a sucker. The bracket of International Edition comes with a 3M sticker, is reusable by a new sticker.




3.Car charger

The car chargers of two versions are different. The CN version comes with two interfaces ,haven’t passed CE,FCC certification. The International version has only one interface, but passed CE and FCC certifications.




4.Certification

Only the International version Xiaomi Yi smart car camera passed CE certification, the CN version has no CE certification.




5.Firmware and languages

There’re some difference between CN version and International version about the firmware and language.Let’s have a look.

The firmware of CN version can not upgrade. But International version can upgrade the firmware in the future.

CN version Yi car camera only support Chinese, this is hard to use for the people who doesn’t know Chinese. And the international version comes with English. What’s more is , it could be root to multi-languages including English, Spanish, French, Russian, German, Italian, Dutch.




6.App

As we mentioned before, CN version only support Chinese, so it only can connect to Chinese app.But International version can use English app.This is a big difference for the people from different countries.
