MI IN EAR PRO GOLD
Today, We review the all new Xiaomi Mi In Ear Pro (or known as the Pistons V4). This nifty gadget debuted Nov 11 during the Single's Day sale and it simply went out of stocks in minutes. But the Gold Edition just got launched April 6.
The Pistons V3 used single coil drivers which is similar to single speaker, while the new Mi In Ear Pro deploys a dual driver. Dual driver means that it is dynamic and uses two way balance armature. This way it gives out a better surround sound or what audio enthusiast called soundstage. It gives you the feeling that you are listening inside a concert hall with depth and height along with that dynamic driver which produces the bass.
For balance armature, this driver is responsible for the mids which means the vocals, instruments, layering of vocals from instruments and high notes plus frequency of sounds.
The beauty of the Xiaomi Mi Hybrid Headset is that it has both the dynamic and balance armature in one piece of headset.
After running some test versus that Pistons V3, I can really say that playing the same concert song (Maroon 5 - Sugar) on the Pistons V3 and the Mi hybrid Headset is pretty much different. The experience itself is like you are live in the concert feeling.
