The Galaxy Note 7 is done. After a global recall, and most likely a second one that's about to commence, Samsung is now officially ending all sales of the smartphone. In a statement issued today the company says it “has decided to stop sales and interim replacement for the Galaxy Note 7,” but as far as the future of the Galaxy Note 7 production goes, things aren't certain at this point.

However, a source familiar with the matter claims Samsung is now considering permanently halting sales of the phone, which means the production of the Galaxy Note 7 will stop as well.
