To prevent confusion among its customers, Samsung is now sending push messages to Galaxy S7 (and S7 edge, presumably) units ensuring their owners that their smartphones are not subjected to a recall and can be used as normal.

As the media is full of inexact reporting describing that the "Samsung 7" or the "Samsung S7" are dangerous phones and/or subjected to a recall, it's wise of Samsung to remind its less tech-savvy customers who aren't informed of the major differences between the S7 and the Note 7 that the former is so far safe and sound.
