Apple announced today that developers will be able to offer promo codes to use for in-app purchases. There are limits to these promo codes. Up to 100 can be given away for each in-app purchase item, and there is a limit of 1000 codes per app every 6 months. Before today's announcement, Apple allowed developers to give out promo codes for paid apps. There was no easy way for developers to distribute these codes for in-app purchases until now.
