We saw another great item launched at the Xiaomi Webstore in China and we immediately purchased it for our testing, what we are mentioning is the latest Ip Camera by Xiaomi, the XiaoFang 1080p Ip Camera.
This is probably due to the many issues regarding the connection with Yi Home Ip Camera for the past month that lead Xiaomi into coming up with another cheap Ip Camera. The Yi Home Ip Camera has been plagued with connection issues that even Xiaomi cannot answer to their clients especially those who tried to use that specific Ip Camera outside China.
This new IP Camera is very portable and is a small box shaped camera, you can pop it up anywhere you want it to be, as long as you setup the camera with your Mi Home App and you are good to go.
Whats in the Box:
Actual Product:
The camera is so sleek and we love the way it was designed.
Now one good feature it has is having a magnet base, now your cctv can be like spiderman! Cling on the metal cabinet would ya Xiao Fang?
We have yet to discover whats the use of the USB port at the back of the camera, we plugged an empty thumb drive formatted into FAT32, and removed the micro SD card, it did not recorded anything to the USB Drive.

Mi Home / MiJia App Connection:
Now settings would be in Chinese by default, but its just some minor navigation menu that you will need to know before you use the camera. English setting still not available.
The box said that it can only by used in China, but we fully tested and its working here in the Philippines. Streaming via mobile data is pretty good.
The quality is at par, we expect something better, but at its price point, we are contented with it already.
Actual Video Recording:
This Ip Camera can be bought from MiJia Store in China for 99 RMB.
