After the recently concluded CES 2017, Xiaomi didnt reveal anything about a possible new smartphone nor did it announce that they will launch a unit sporting the newly unveiled Qualcomm Snapdragon 825 SoC.
But there were reports coming from China that the Xiaomi Mi 6 has reportedly notched a score in AnTuTu that no one have ever achieved before, 210,329 blazing points. This is quite a score to beat, and Xiaomi outdid themselves again after Mi 5 just racked up with 142,000 points sporting the Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 SoC. Reports said that Xiaomi will unveil the successor of the popular Mi 5 during the Mobile World Congress (MWC) this coming February, but others said they will launch it on April, eitherway, Mi 5 was launch about this time of the year on 2016.

Based on reports, Xiaomi will be the first to get a crack at the Snapdragon 835 and believe me, this chipset is on blazing fast SoC, sporting an octa-core CPU coupled with the Adreno 540 GPU, both are way more powerful than the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 chips, which are popular among flagship phones. Reports also said that it will look somewhat like the Mi Note 2, only smaller. Adopting the Mi Note 2's dual curve design will be a good concept to look at duing its possible launch next month.

Xiaomi is trying to sustain their momentum after launching the very popular bezel-less Mi MIX and recently announced its pearl white variant during the CES 2017. Will Xiaomi make a great comeback and climb back to the top with these latest release? We hope they do.
