How annoying it is now that Xiaomi has taken off the 3.5mm audio jack from the latest flagship known as the Mi 6. I find it pretty uncool that the audio jack is now missing, but luckily, Xiaomi immediately followed up with their latest Pistons Headphones series dubbed as the Mi ANC and Type C In Ear Earphones. ANC simply means Active Noise Cancellation, which enhances the listening experience and pleasure to the user.
The USB Type C socket is supported to other Xiaomi devices sporting the USB C Charging such as Mi 5, Mi 5s, Mi 5s Plus, Redmi Pro, Mi Max 2, Mi Note 2, Mi MIX as well as the Mi Pad 3. But Xiaomi warned that this earphones may not be compatible with other android phones carrying the USB C port, so watch out.

After playing music for almost a half day, This earphone has been able to reduce noise and I really apprecite it, the earbuds are snug fit to the ears by default. The package includes other sizes of earbuds inside the box, which is a standard package across all pistons headphones packages. One thing that is missing is that the earphone is not being detected by the phone when plugged as a Mi ANC earphone, normally in the settings you can select the model of Mi headphone you are using, but this one is not selectable. But nevertheless you can calibrate the buttons. The side switch is dedicated to the ANC mode, where you can turn it on or off.
I have always been a fan of the Pistons Headset by Xiaomi, the sound produced on this headphone is pretty superb, I can feel the bass as well as the cinematic suround effect when watching movies. The ANC mode pretty much cancelled unnecessary noises for me which is the specialty of this model.
