Since you represent GearBest, I would like to ask you a question, which it has been a great issue of conversation in our forum recently:
We have read in your on-line store that in the description of many devices, you have added this note:

"This Android/Windows device is designed to function specifically with the current Android/Windows OS installed on it. Any alterations such as upgrades, modding with custom ROMs, rooting or flashing the Android device with other firmware will automatically void the device's warranty."

So, I would like to ask you, a couple of questions about this note and I, please, expect a clear clarification on this issue:

1. Can or we can not install, flash or upgrade our "GTV-GREEK ROM" in our Xiaomi devices?
Obviously we are talking about a custom rom and also some kind of this rom, it makes the device rooted and in some cases adds some extra MODs in the device. Will we still have the official warranty which Xiaomi offers to their clients or are we going to lose it, because of this fact?

2. Why in other on-line stores there is not this restriction and our mobile phones enjoy normally Xiaomi's warranty, no matter what kind of rom it is flashed in the device?

My question cames with great respect for your desicion to release this note above, but it is an issue, which engages many of our members, so I would, please, like a clear answer on this!

About the flash the ROM,yes you can flash "GTV-GREEK ROM" in our Xiaomi devices.
but if after flashed,there is any problem on the device,we are not responsible for the warranty ,that means the warranty provisions will be failed.
and this rule is not made by us.Also you can check it with other on-line stores.

Thank you for your responce Aries.
If other words, what you tell me is that if we have any problem with the device, but we have already installed our local Greek Rom, we will NOT be covered by Xiaomi's official warranty.
As, I already wrote you above in my initial note, we have already checked in other on-line stores and there is not this restriction about the warranty.
Althought that is VERY GOOD for us to know and I really appreciate your frankness!

I do not really have any other specific question, and I totally understand and respect GearBest's rules!
Although, to be honest with you, I wonder why someone should buy a device from GearBest when they know in advance that their device will not be covered by Xiaomi's warranty and not from any other on line store (there SO many out there) where they can have the official warranty, as of course, it is their legal right to have it, no matter what kind of software will have installed on their device.
