Redmi 3 Pro vs Redmi 3S vs Redmi 3x: Unconfusing the Confused
by mitch002

I have recently been interviewed by one of my biggest fan, his username is mitch001, very much similar to mine. He wants me to help users and buyers of Xiaomi Redmi 3 series to determine who is who and what is what? Sounds confusing right? Yes, it really is confusing especially when you dont know what you are trying to buy. Mitch001 is a bit shy to post the interview so he let me grab the oppportunity to post my own interview, sounds great right? Lets get the ball rolling shall we.
Mitch001: Hi sir mitch002, its a pleasure to give me the chance to interview you insipe of your busy schedule.
Mitch002: Hey mitch001, are you sure you are not an impostor? I know you are a big fan, so I forgive you on your username. The pleasure is mine to be able to help Xiaomi Fans out there.
Mitch001: What are the latest reviews you will be doing in the nearby weeks?
Mitch002: Well, not much, I just finished with Redmi 3X and waiting for Mi Drone and Qi Bike to drop in a few weeks later.
Mitch001: Sounds awesome, now you just read my mind about Redmi 3 series, many users are so confused with the recent release of Xiaomi, With the Redmi 3 Pro just debuted a couple of months ago, then they launched Redmi 3S and then Redmi 3X. What is the difference between the three and what is what? I seem so confused just like all the fans out there. Please share us your expert knowledge on this topic.
Mitch002: Oh, I believe that Xiaomi is a bit confusing users and buyers with their recent release. First it was Mi4, Mi4i, Mi4c then Mi4s, the only confusing is Mi4i and Mi4c since they are identical but have different processors. Now lets tackle the Redmi 3 series. Redmi 3 piloted the take off, then followed by an improved version which is the Redmi 3 Pro, sooner we get to see Redmi 3S which is a nerfed edition, alongside with Redmi 3X.
Mitch001: Wow! You sure know your stuffs. Can you help us identify the differences?
Mitch002: Okay, so lets get started.

Mitch001: Thank for the clarrification, now what sets each apart from the other.
Mitch002: Redmi 3 is definitely out of their league to begin with, so lets focus on the other three variants. Redmi 3 Pro recorded a AnTuTu benchmark score of 32k, while Redmi 3S notched a score of 38K and Redmi 3X has received 43k. Redmi 3 Pro has a battery life of 14 hours based on normal use as per PC Mark Test, while Redmi 3S has 18 hours, and Redmi 3X 15hours. If you based on the performance of the camera, I give Redmi 3 Pro the upperhand based on its fast focus and clear photos taken, while Redmi 3S and Redmi 3X take a little more time to focus. In terms of multitasking, its not easy to see it with the human eye the speed of the multitasking part, but based on specs, Redmi 3 Pro has a faster processor so therefore it should come out on top if performing the same task at the same time of start with the other 2 units.
In terms of aesthetics, Redmi 3 Pro and Redmi 3 have the same rounded sides, while Redmi 3X is more edgy, now think of it this way, Redmi 3 Pro and Redmi 3S are iphone 6s while Redmi 3X is Iphone 5s. Redmi 3X only got released with 1 variant, 2GB 32GB. While 3 Pro has been released with 3GB 32GB RAM in upgrade to the Redmi 3 series. While the Redmi 3X has 2GB 16GB and the 3GB 32GB variant. And also 3X has infrared port that the other 2 doesnt have.
Mitch001: Wow! Nice observation. Can you tell us who should come out on top if pitted against each other.
Mitch002: Redmi 3 Pro will be my bet, it has better camera, plus it has a faster processor. The difference between the processor is that the Snapdragon 630 has faster cores but lacks LTE Cat 5 connection that is present in the slower Snapdragon 430.
Let me show you some photos to clear your confusion.
Mitch001: Thats awesome! Now I believe the users will be more cleared with their doubts about the 3 units which looks pretty identical.
Mitch002: Sure, no problem about that.
Mitch001: Do we expect to interview you again soon if we bump into stuffs like this again?
Mitch002: Yeah, why not.
Mitch001: Alright! We hope to expect more awesome reviews from you soon.
Mitch002: Sure, there is a lot i have yet to review yet. So stay tunned.
Mitch001: One more thing before we go, can we have a photo together and can you give me an autograph?
Mitch002: Here you go.
