After the Xiaomi Philips Smart Eyecare Lamp came the Mi LED Desk Lamp, this time its half the price and more LED bulbs. Now slimer, and packed with more LED bubs. Deployed with a simple design, the only thing I noticed odd is the Red wire outside the lamp, otherwise it could have been a perfect white lamp for me. The color of the light is pretty much warm white to begin with and can be adjusted a bit to cool white based on your requirement.








The base is pretty sturdy but the slim body seems to be a little bit shaky, this is perfect when placed at a stationary position on your desk, but not really adviseable when you keep switching location for your lamp.











We tried reading books under this lamp and its pretty relaxing to the eyes (hey who read books these days? I have to admit I read E-books only, except hard bound newspapers). The hinges are pretty sturdy, so no worries on frequent open and close of the lamp.




















This one does not have a USB out unlike the Philips version which allows you to charge phone while using the lamp.
























The dial can be used to set your lights to bright or dim mode, and you need to press it to turn on and off.
















The lights are friendly to the eyes when using it.
