While Samsung's Galaxy Note 7 has brought the issue of exploding phones to the fore, we recently saw a case where an iPhone 7 was found apparently burnt to a crisp before it it had even reached its owner. Now, a student at a college in Burlington County, NJ claims his iPhone 6 Plus exploded whilst in his back pocket, which burned a hole in his jeans and left the phone completely totaled.
