How to Fix Slow Download from Google Play in MIUI

Rooted device is needed to make this work. You need to unlock your bootloder to be able to root. Check the forum for guides on Unlocking Bootloader and Rooting Devices. Now dont make me repeat myself again, If you are not rooted, you will need to root to make it work. Understood?
Method 1:
Fix:
1) Clear data for `Download Manager` app.
2) Backup `DownloadProvider` folder from `/system/priv-app` (in case something will go wrong).
3) Download forums.xiaomi-miui.gr/index.php/Attachment/868130/ and replace `DownloadProvider.apk` with file from it.
4) Don't forget to set right permissions for replaced file (-rw-r--r--).
5) Reboot phone
If problem still exists or an error occurs when you open "Downloads" app, try the following:
1) Clear data for `Downloads` app.
2) Backup `DownloadProviderUi` folder from `/system/priv-app`.
3) Replace `DownloadProviderUi.apk` with file from downloaded archive.
4) Set right permissions for replaced file (-rw-r--r--).
5) Reboot phone
Why it works:
As it turned out, this bug (or intentional restriction) appeared in firmwares starting from 7.5.3.0.
So, we took 7.5.2.0-xiaomi.eu and extracted `DownloadProvider` from there.
Profit!
Notes:
This fix works ideally on 7.5.7.0-xiaomi.eu (tested by me) and should work like that on any other firmware where Xunlei is cut out.
On firmwares with Xunlei you'll still see "Use Xunlei Accelerator" option under "Downloads" app settings.
You should turn it off - download speed will be unlimited, but you will see annoying message "Xunlei accelerator is turned off" on all the notifications from Google Play while downloading apps.
Method 2:
1. Download and put this file into your phone's Downloaded folder forums.xiaomi-miui.gr/index.php/Attachment/868131/
2. Access TWRP then install/flash the file in the Downloaded folder
It will remove the speed limitation set by MIUI to enable fast download on Google Play.
