People would ask me whats the main difference between the two edition of Mi MIX, and frankly at first I dont know what to answer since I only held the Exclusive edition which is the 6GB RAM and 256GB ROM variant. Now, I was able to get my hands on the 128GB standard version as well, so lets go ahead and pit them side by side shall we?

Now we can see clearly that the Exclusive Edition has a touch of gold, be it in the box or on the phone itself. The embossed gold letters to the 18K Karat Gold Ring on the Fingerprint scanner and 16MP Camera, the standard edition sport a silver ring for the Fingerprint scanner and the 16MP Camera, while the box is a carved and embossed black letters to complete the package.

Conclusion:
The Exclusive Edition looks much more premium overall, but I also love the all black finish for the 128GB version without the hint of gold. Probably it depends on the taste of people, most people will go for the more premium among the two, but other than RAM, ROM and aesthetics wise, nothing more is different between the two.
