Mi Portable Mouse Review and Unboxing

Now we can see is just another mouse from a manufacturer that is not Logitech, or Microsoft. But whats so special about this mouse? Its has a hybrid connection, meaning you can choose either you connect by bluetooth, or you can use a USB to plug and forget via receiver.
The mouse is made of metal and yes its pretty light, most probably its aluminum in structure, the base and the click base of the mouse is made of polycarbonate plastic.
It comes with 2 pcs of AAA Zi5 battery.
Apple Magic Mouse vs Mi Portable Mouse
Now its always nice to make a pretty good comparison, we loved the ergonomics of the Apple mouse, it always feels like Apple. Now what about the Xiaomi Mouse? lets take a look at the side by side comparison.
The top of the Apple mouse is made of glass, while Xiaomi had it made of aluminum. Apple use the virtual scroll, while Xiaomi has the conventional scroll wheel (we like the conventional scroll wheel better)
Apple had its botom made with aluminum, while Xiaomi had polycarbonate plastic, it doesnt really matter to us, coz its being rubbed against the table or mousepad and we dont normally take a look unless we change battery. They both sport 2 pcs of AAA battery to operate.
At the rear the Apple mouse is so thin, while the Mi Mouse is thick, we felt the Xiaomi Mouse wins in this category since our palm fits properly with a little more volume into it.
On the sides the Apple mouse looks a lot more futuristic than the Mi Mouse.
Up front the Apple mouse looks better but in terms of functionality with Windows, We have to give it to Mi Mouse. Its easier to use Mi Mouse with Windows 10.
Overall the Mi Portable Mouse is a good investment to pair with the Xiaomi Mi Notebook Air. With the same aluminum finish color, it paired best with it. This is sold at 99 RMB in Xiaomi China Webstore.
