First thing that came into my mind, Xiaomi did not spare Lego, when we talk about building toys, Lego will always be at the top of my mind. But Xiaomi did not copy Lego, they improved it. They made a building toys that can be programable. There is a logic block inside which you can program using the Mi Bunny Builder App and you can tell it to do whatever you programed it to do. Basically its a Lego that can move on its own, how awesome is it?

You may be wondering what this toy bring to your kids? Simple, they dont only learn how to build it, but they learn how to program it as well, lets say that its an early stage to learn robotics at home. The box said its for age 10 and up, I gave this as a gift to my 5 year old son and he did try to build it but its a bit hard for his age since there are a lot of alignment and gears which is not present in Lego that he is building on his own.
And so I took over and finished it in 3 1/2 hours, some claimed to finish it in 6 hours. Its easier when you put all the same parts together, better if you have tupperwares ready to put the parts. Xiaomi did put a segregator, but its not enough, you need to provide your own containers to make it easy for you to build. One trick on how to make it easy, is to gather the bricks needed per page of instruction, in that way you can complete one page as fast as possible.

There are a lot to play with this toy, you just need to program it. Now there is a dinosaur edition, I am still waiting on how to get the instruction to build the dinosaur as that is the request of my son. I will stay with the robot for the meantime.
