We came across another great bluetooth speaker by Xiaomi, its been a while since they released a boxed type bluetooth speaker and this time it has been upgraded to Bluetooth v4.2 compatibility. As we tried it out pairing with our Mi 6, it was pretty easy to pair and as expected, sound is good and crisp similar to its predecessor, we never really encountered any problem as we played music all night long and tested the quality of the sound.

The sound is loud and clear but lacking the cinematic suround sound that is present in the colored boxed speaker (but it was a more premium version in the first place).
The speaker can last for 10 hours with its build in batter and the speaker gets charged from empty to full in around 1.5 hours based on my usage.
The charging port is micro USB slot and there is a 3.5mm AUX in beside the charging port. Playing both on AUX and Bluetooth 4.2 via Mi 6 was no problem and we did not experience any lag or intermittent playing of the music.

How to connect:
Turn on your phone bluetooth and turn on the bluetooth search mode in the speaker, you need to hold down the power button to make it blink red and blue, search for XMFHZ02 and connect it, its that simple.
