Amazfit Band: The Upgraded Mi Band 2!

Amazfit is on a roll now, after the success of the Amazfit watch, they launched the Amazfit BIP and now the Amazfit Band. They have successfully captured the market for wearables in China and have been releasing international versions for global consumers. Im pretty excited to get my hands on this gadget and probably upgrade my Mi Band 2 which has been with me for quite some time already since its debut.

The design of this fitness band has abided by the minimalist design, they did not do too much redundant decoration, which is pretty good. The choice of stainless steel and glass combination carefully fused into this beautiful piece of gadget.
The screen is made of 1.23 inch screen, the body is composed of Grade 316 Stanless Steel (the highest grade for the said metal), which makes acidic sweat a piece of cake for this gadget to handle. 2.5D glass was also deployed to make sure there is a smooth curve from the glass to the sides of the band.
The back of the bracelet was designed to fit the wrist surface of the hand to ensure the comfort of wearing this gadget. The heart rate sensor part is slightly embossed to ensure accurate heart rate monitoring.
This watch is water resistant up to 50 Meters, then you can wear this to sleep to monitor your sleeping pattern as well.
How to Pair with Mi FIT App:
Turn on your Bluetooth then turn on Mi Fit App, go to profile and add device. Select band, then continue. Your watch will vibrate and you will see this message, just hit the green check icon to continue.
The IPS Screen makes is pretty attactive and nice to look at. Im just really a fan of bright and good graphics screen.
Some basic functions that you may like to take a look at are the vibrate when you are sitting too long. its time to get that lazy butt moving around after sitting still for a long hour, but please dont vibrate when Im on a long drive. You can also put a setting for that.
Mi Band 2 vs Amazfit Band
Now its time to compare my Miband 2 side by side with the Amazfit Band. Probably the result is pretty obvious who looks better, but in terms of weight, its Mi band 2 walking away with that category, other than that, its all Amazfit Band the runaway winner.
This band pretty much is my new wearable for this year, will you make it yours too?
You can now but this for 299 RMB, and it might be available with Xiaomi pretty soon as it is in Mi Fit App already.
