The Mijia electric scooter, won the 2017 red dot best design award (best of the best), is the red dot product design of all awards in the highest honor, only awarded to each product group the most excellent design work.


This item is pretty much a good one to have especially when you live in the village and you need to walk half an hour to get to a certain place, this will help you save time and energy. The compactness of this scooter makes it pretty much easy to carry and use at anytime and anywhere. You can even use this in the mall or park, but this is not adviseable to be used inside the house.

Now the box of this scooter is almost as big as the MITV 32" and pretty much heavy to carry for 1 person. Now as we unboxed this beauty, the unit is tucked pretty much solid inside the styrophore to prevent it from damage during shipping stage. The screws are complete and there is the tool for you to properly fix the screws before first use. As we tried on the unit, the factory charge was minimal therefore we had to have it charged out of the box to use it. The unit was light to carry, weighing just 12.5 Kg for the total package, which is not bad already. The body is made of alloy to prevent rust and to make it lightweight. There are 4 indicator LED to show you how much power you have left, The grips are anti slip therefore its pretty comfortable to hold it. The pneumatic wheels are also anti-skid and anti vibration to make the ride as smooth as possible. This unit is packed with 18650mAh worth of LG Lithium battery to give you a smooth ride for up to 30KM.





















































The front lights and brake lights are pretty powerful and it will remind others to keep distance.









As I played around with this unit, it was really fun to cruise around, I kinda feel lazy to walk anymore after taking a good ride with the Mijia Electric Scooter. The power it gave me was pretty cool and I was standling like for 5 kilometers, there are others who have modified this scooter to have a bike chair on it. Another good modification would be buying a solid rubber wheel to prevent you from getting flat along the way.



Mi Home App Integration:

















The app integration was pretty good, probably you can buy a phone mount for this, but sometimes not a good idea as it might get snatched while you are stucked in traffic. I went as fast as 20kph and It was pretty much a smooth ride. This item I pretty much love it and would give it a 10/10 rating for such a wonderful creation.
