After Xiaomi has released the Mi Kettle a couple of months back, they now launched a more affordable version in the Mijia Electric Kettle, probably we should call it the youth edition or something which Xiaomi loves to call its more affordable alternatives to their original product. Now whats the difference between the more expensive one and the more cheaper one. This one does not support keep warm function while the first version has it under is list of menu.
There are people like me who dont need to keep the water warm all day long, sometimes its just a waste of electricity as we dont even bother to hit the kettle towards lunch hour especially during off office hours. The function of this is to boil it when needed, it can contain up to 1.5 Liters of water and can get boiled in estimated 5 minutes, which is pretty fast as I was checking my mail and all of the suddent its done.
Unboxing:

The box is pretty identicatl to the more expensive version and it was well packed to prevent damage during the voyage to the owner.

Actual Product:

The boiling socket.

China based adapter. You might need a local adapter to make it fit your loca socket

Mijia Electric Kettle in action

Pure stainless 304 body

1.5 Liters actual

The boilng lever

Overall I personaly assess this one is more economical and cost wise compared to its sibling in terms of price, as well as weight. We all know that Xiaomi dont just manufacture any product out there, they make sure its perfect before it gets released. I strongly suggest this to all coffee and tea lovers as you can also monitor the water boiling from your app in Mi Home App.
