[MIUI Device Team]How to flash TWRP Recovery and Super Su(Root) on Redmi Note 2 - Redmi Note 2/Prime - Xiaomi MIUI Official Forum
Με συμαντικη βοηθεια απο το ποστ :
Okay, so I have FDD 16gb version of the phone. MIUI V6.7.3.0.LHMCNCH
1. I tried to install Xiaomi USB driver via Device Manager but Windows told me it's already up to date, so I went with it.
2. I downloaded adb-tools and TWRPrecovery and extracted them, renamed recovery.img and placed in adb-tools.
3. Entered fastboot on the phone
4. Connected data cable, it was recognized by the PC with windows driver (adb interface something....)
5. Opened cmd inside the adb-tools folder, wrote "fastboot flash
recovery recovery.img" and pressed enter. It said okay two times,
'writing recovery', and finished.
6. Disconnected the cable, held power button to exit fastboot mode,
7. Held power + volumeUP to enter recovery
8. And still everytime it boots MI-recovery, no TWPR recovery
So my question is, what did I do wrong?
Can I flash TWRP recovery via MI-recovery? (ex. rename twrp recovery to update.zip then flash it)?
EDIT(fix):
I fixed it by installing these Vcom drivers MT6577 USB VCOM drivers
After I installed drivers, I repeated the procedure from this topic and it works now.
