This can only be done when you live in China and purchased the phone from Xiaomi themselves. But what if you purchased from a 3rd party reseller and they didnt even know this shortage, first things first, ask if the leather case is inside, if not, you are willing to wait or make your decision, because the third party will receive that item and for sure they will not send to you free of charge overseas. They might sell it for 299 RMB and earn from it.
