The latest Mi Headphone in the form of Mi Headphone Comfort Edition is one pretty lightweight headphone for its category, the texture and material used is pretty nice and sturdy. We can say that this headphone is affordable but not cheaply made in any way.


Xiaomi and 1More has been collaborating for a long while already and they have mastered what the customers really want. Now there were consumers complaining the Mi Headphone made from Berillium material is pretty expensive at 499 RMB. This time Xiaomi listened to the fans and made a cheaper version to be sold at 199 RMB.

We have run several test on this headphone and the sound is pretty excellent, but compared to the more premium edition, the sound is less vibrant when I played the same song on the two headphones. The weight is light therefore not a problem to carry around the head and neck, the wire is not as good as the other edition but it should be good enough for daily grind.


Now the white portion of the left headphone is pressable, meaning you can use it as a button to answer calls, pause song, play song and select next song. The mic in we have tested it and was able to talk to my friend with a clarity of 10/10 score from the other side.

After careful evaluation, we can say that the older edition is still very premium and smaller in form factor, its easier to carry around too with a pouch dedicated just for the more premium headphone which was relased early last year.


If you are on a budget, this earphone is awesome to have. But if you have the budget, I suggest you buy the other set so you can experience the audio in a premium leatherized form.
