Xiaomi RedMi3 Pro Not charging

Έστειλα μήνυμα στο κατάστημα όπου αγόρασα το κινητό αναφορικά με το πρόβλημα και μού απάντησαν τα παρακάτω:

A please offer us a short video and send us the link of video, so that we can confirm with technical people and help you find solutions
B. firstly you can try the solutions as following

1. charge it for hours with new charger (the issue maybe the charger or cable )

2. Solution B :
a. Unlock the phone here and intall the Unlock toolen.miui.com/unlock/
b. Please connect the phone to computer (keep the phone off), and press”Volume + &power button”, then enter “Fastboot” than unlock the phone.
Solution C rebbot and reset
Please try more times until install the firmware successfully. Hope it is helpful for you. Any other questions feel free to contact us

Greetings from Xiaomi!

Unfortunately, Xiaomi Redmi 3 Pro is not available for sale in US and we will not be able to help you get this product repaired in the US. However, please try the following troubleshooting steps and it may help you with this issue:

• Please check whether any charging light or symbol is showing or not
  
• Please confirm whether using OEM Adapter
  
• Please check with other adapter in MI device
  
• Also try to use Mi Adapter in other device
  

Also would request you to follow below mentioned steps in order to perform a hardware test in order to check the exact issue :-

1. Dial *#*#6484#*#*
   
2. Select the option related to Charger
   
3. Perform the test and check weather it is passed or not
   

If the above steps don't help, then would request you to reset your device. Please follow the below mentioned steps in order to reset the device.

Sign Out from your Mi Account : -

1. Go to Settings
   
2. Select Mi Account
   
3. Then confirm to Sign Out
   

Create a backup : -

1. Go to Settings
   
2. Select Additional settings
   
3. Select Backup and Reset
   
4. Select Local Backups
   
5. Select Backup
   
6. Select Accounts and Contacts & Deselect System
   
7. Then select Backup so that a backup would be created
   

For Finding Backup File :-

1. Go to Internal Storage
   
2. Select MIUI
   
3. Select Backup
   
4. Select All Backup
   

(Note :- Please save the backup file in your system so that your important data would be prevented)

Factory Data Reset :-

1. Go to Settings
   
2. Go to Additional Settings
   
3. Go to Backup and Reset
   
4. Tap on Factory Data Reset
   

After that update the latest MIUI version and to update the latest MIUI version please choose "Settings - About phone - check update" in your device, if there is a new version available, please follow the steps to complete the update.


If you can’t update the phone system by OTA, then would request you to follow the below mentioned steps for manually updating the device (ROM Flash).

ROM Flash :-

1. Go to the mentioned link: en.miui.com/
   
2. Click on Downloads
   
3. Select your device
   
4. Select device name>Global(If you are using Chinese Version then would request you to select "China")
   
5. Select 'Download Full ROM'. (Stable ROM)
   
6. Now after downloading Zip file, copy this file in the internal storage of your device in a folder named downloaded_rom which exists in File Explorer (If the particular folder is not there in internal storage of your device, then please create a new folder with the same name)
   
7. Then go into Tools >> Updater
   
8. Tap on '...' icon at the top right side/ long press menu button
   
9. Choose update package
   
10. Select the download package
    
11. Click on OK
    

Restoring data :-

1. Go to Settings
   
2. Select Additional Setting
   
3. Select Backup and Reset
   
4. Select Local Backups
   
5. Select Backup File
   
6. Select Restore in order to complete this process
   

If the issue persist, please get in touch with the vendor/website from where the device was bought for further support.
