After being able to own the first version of the Ninebot Hover Board, it was really a fun experience to have one especially when you are travelling a bit far from one place to another that is pretty much boring if you take a walk. The Ninebot is really a good companion to own for short distance trips, it can save you a lot of time from travelling. Now on its second version, presenting the Ninebot Plus Hover Board, there are large improvement compared to the first version, but price has almost doubled as well from 1999 RMB to 3499 RMB.

About its appearance, Ninebot Plus adopts aviation grade magnesium alloy skeleton, enhanced magnesium alloy chassis, it still uses white body and black tire and black pedal color, adding the atmosphere lamp, making it look cool.
The height of the foot area and chassis have been increased, it used 11 inch high adhesion anti-skidding tires, the front lights increases to 36cm. As for its performance, Ninebot plus has 800W power rate, 329Wh imported 18650 power lithium battery, and the travel endurance is 35km.
In addition, the Ninebot Plus has added a handy remote control, which can be used to let the hoverboard follow you automatically. Its top can choose to install a gimbal camera, supporting real-time image transmission for smartphones, and it can take photos and videos by remote controller.

A new addition to the Ninebot Plus is its new remote control. With the remote control, you can unlock the scooter, summon it to come to you, turn on or turn off the scooter’s lights or even activate a “follow me” mode. The remote control is rechargeable and has a 9-hr battery life depending on if you frequently use its vibration alarm. Its 680mAh battery should charge in 3.5hrs via USB. Another feature the Ninebot Plus has is a load mode feature that lets you turn it into a sort of trolley to carry items. Thanks to a self-adjusting gravity function, the Ninebot Plus will automatically find its balance when you load it with items. Maximum load weight is 20kg. This is the most interesting feature of the scooter. If you are into making videos, the scooter can come in handy. Just fit in the Xiaomi PTZ Camera into the special slot between the seat and your scooter doubles as a professional track slider. The camera has 3-axis OIS, records in 1080p and has a 104° wide angle sensor. The Ninebot Plus has a maximum speed of 18km/h and features two 400W motors. Both motors can supply a turbo boost of 2500W combined. The scooter has an IP54 rating and supports a maximum load of 100kg when in riding mode. Its 329Wh battery system is made up of 42 18650 high power lithium batteries that can last up to 35km on a single charge. Charging time comes in at 5.5hrs.

Ninebot App:
Its pretty easy to connect the unit to the phone, just turn on your bluetooth and install the Ninebot app and just follow the instruction on board. There are many functions that you can see in the app, but at the moment you need to register the hoverboard using your China Sim Card, this is a hindrance to unlock the max potential of the Ninebot Plus as some functions requires your unit to be registered. But nevertheless you can already use it out from the box without registration. Whats cool about this new hoverboard is its ability to change colors on the board LED lights.
