Mi Home 3.7.15 HandlerPatcher for unrooted phone.

Procedure to patch:
1. Download the APK.

2. Install the Apk. If it failed, then you must uninstall any mi home installed on your device then Reinstall the apk.
3. run the Mi Home application and Login with your Mi Account.
4 Add your device or if it is already exists, press the item of your device to install the Original Plugin from Mi Server.
5. After it is complete and you can open your device main control screen, close the app.
6. Now, download the plugin that has been translated by MADDOCTOR.
7. open /Android/data/com.xiaomi.smarthome/
of your internal storage using File Browser. now create folder HandlerPatch there.
then create folder plugin inside it.
then create folder install inside it.
then creare folder mpk inside it.
So you have to get this kind of folder structure:
/Android/data/com.xiaomi.smarthome/HandlerPatch/plugin/install/mpk/
8. Now you need to know the main folder name for your plugin. read it what MADDOCTOR explain.

here is the example for xiaomi xiaoyi ants 720, it use 240 as a main folder name for the plugin.
create the folder 240 inside the mpk folder (step no 8).
so now you should have:
/Android/data/com.xiaomi.smarthome/HandlerPatch/plugin/install/mpk/240/
9. put the apk downloaded (step no 7) to
the folder on step 9.

10. now run the app. you should see the app says Patched.
11. Let see the folder
/Android/data/com.xiaomi.smarthome/
is the HandlerPatch folder gone? if it's gone, then we already patch it.
12. now open the app and see if the xiaomi yi ants already in english.

As I said, if the app you use, has no root privilages, which means your mobile is not root, you don't have access to the folders you say. Check photos below....

Yes. You don't have access to /data. But you have access to /sdcard/Android/data, where you usually find game data and obb there.

I already patch the code of the mi home. And again, we dont have access to /data if we dont root our phone, but the application itself have access to it.

I checked it and you are correct, you do have access to /sdcard/Android/data/com.smarthome/ but inside it I found only some files about miwifi, not my other devices. Will check if you can hack the app with this way and if it is correct, will add it at my first post.

So one must install first your mi home, not the original or my translated version, in order the hack to work? Will try without it if it works first.

First you must install the mi home i shared. After you do the patch. You can install your mi home. But after you install your mi home. The patch function will not work anymore.
