Hi, My phone rebooted on its own and locked itself. i know my code but
when i try inputing it it locks and does not allow me access to use
it. if someone else calls me i can answer the phone just fine but i
can not make any call or have access to the contents inside. i try to
unlock it using the utilite from the munufacturer xiaomi but the
proccess did not go through because i dont have the device boundet to
my Mi account . When i tried to do that it asked me for the security
number from the authentication label to scratch off its coating and
obtain the 20-digit security code which i no longer have!!! what do i
do? if possible i would like to save the contents of my phone . any ideas?

thanks for the reply . the phone i had it in my hands and all of the sudden reboots on its own . when it goes through the reboot it asks for my pin for the sim card which i enter and it accepts it fine, and then it asks for the pin for the device phone. there is the problem although i know my password it refuses to unlock. gives me an error wronk password and locks for 119 min at this point. i would like to unlock it and if possible save my data pictures i have takken for the last 6 months!!! i know my mistake for not downloading but now it is done . what do i do?

no its not on the cloud, i did not have the mi account associated with my device

i tried unlocking with the official utilite from mi but it told me that my device is not bound to my account. in order to do that it requires a security # from the authentication tape which i no longer have i got the phone 6 months ago from gearbest

i have contacted xiaomi but i have some how to bount my device to the mi account and it wants a security # which i no longer have from the authentication tape

no idea... what ever the phone came with i think was 8 though
